It’s finally Monday! And now it’s time to start showing you all that I have planned here. Every Monday, we will be posting a summary of what’s to come in the following week, whether it’s a mix, music review, original song, tutorial, or something else.
Starting today, we have a new weekly mixtape that will land every Monday. You may be familiar with it already; it’s called “Summit Sessions.” Prior to today, it was something we did whenever we got the urge, but now it’s something entirely more regular.
If you want to check it out, you can see it on Beatport here (along with a corresponding chart here), or Mixcloud right here. I’m still working on getting an iTunes podcast link ready, check back in a few hours or a couple days for it!
We’ll be reviewing Noah Neiman’s new electro-trance single “Over 9000.” He’s a rising star in the electro-trance scene, and a consistent artist on Lange Recordings, so we’re quite interested to see what he has in store with us. We’re hoping you are too!
When it comes to making music, the hardest part is often knowing where to start. We’ll be covering that in a brand new tutorial, showing you the breakdown of various popular DAWs (including our favorite) and giving you some links to awesome free plugins that we use in our own songs. We’ll also give you some little tips and tricks here and there, but we won’t get too deep into that – that will be for future tutorials!
Anyway, hope you’ll stay tuned over the coming weeks!
